Malaysia’s proudest moment was when 24-year-old Julian Chee Yie Jian earned the Guinness World Record in the “Farthest Flight By A Paper Aircraft” category. Chee’s paper airplane design flew an astounding 77.134m, beating the previous record of 69.14m held by Americans in 2012. The US-based aviation engineer teamed up with two South Korean friends, Kim Kyu Tae and Shin Moo Joon, to achieve their incredible distance in Daegu, Gyeongsangbuk-do in South Korea on 16 April 2022.
