Throwback Thursday: Post-grunge band Creed performs its hit song “Higher” at a Las Vegas show 25 years ago. Creed, formed by founding members lead vocalist Scott Stapp and guitarist Mark Tremonti in Tallahassee. Fla., released “Higher” in 1999 as the lead single from its second studio album “Human Clay”. “Higher”, a culmination of the band improvising live onstage” is thought to be in some circles as spiritually-inspired grunge or alt-rock because of the song’s title. Others have labeled Creed a
