It's that time of year when you can take your sled along on a trek up the Dune Climb at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Every winter the dune transforms into a massive sledding hill. Visitors to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore will notice a significant change this year as the popular wooden platform at Lookout Number 9 on the Pierce Stocking Drive has been removed.
