Is there a more satisfying riff to play? 👌🎸 I enjoy the colour in Eddie's chord choices, especially the first section. The way he takes those major 9s and moves them around would almost suit a more progressive jazz fusion setting. But despite the intricacies and depth, he still always had a great knack for making major tonality sound tough. Perhaps that trait helped Van Halen reach a bigger audience than it would have otherwise? Who else struggled with the timing of the first bar? Ed & Al love
