Animal care staff hang enrichment items in the giraffe yard to mentally stimulate our giraffe throughout the day! They construct these items to promote natural behaviors. It's important to keep in mind that while humans have hands to touch and investigate things, giraffe do not. Instead giraffe use their tongues to investigate!
